HISTORY

Textor SA is a private company with a long tradition in textiles manufacturing domain.
The company was funded in 1980, under the name Tesatoria de Matase – Targu Mures, producing fabrics with jacquard and plane designs. In 1990, following the privatization process, the factory turns into a fully private company, with the name of S.C. TEXTOR S.A., resizing its administration and production capacity in order to adapt to the market needs.

FIELD OF ACTIVITY

The main activity is the production of fabrics with jacquard and plane designs, for internal decorations and upholstery.
The evolution of the market determined the company to develop another activity: the making-up of household textiles.
These two main activities, well coordinated, allowed TEXTOR to gain an important market segment.

TECHNOLOGY

The projection of the fabrics is assisted by a last generation computerized system, which allows the creation of a very wide range of designs and textures in a very short time.
The quality of the fabrics is ensured by modern Somet weaving machines of high productivity, with mechanical treading motion mechanism and electronic dobby and by special finishing machines, giving the possibility to apply specific treatments on the fabrics (dyeing, softening, fire proofing, soil release finish, coating, rendering hydrophobic).
The tailoring workshop has a high performance quilting machine, able to realize various quilting designs and thicknesses.

QUALITY SYSTEM

Inside the company is implemented The Quality Assurance System ISO 9001/1994, recertified in 2000, proving that our technology and products are aligned with the European standards.

CONCLUSIONS

Due to the earnestness we treat every order, to close collaboration with every client, to utilization of the best quality raw materials, to emphasis on the quality of the products, TEXTOR S.A. gained a renown on the internal as well as on the external market.

The presence at international fairs has lead to commercial cooperation with clients from Hungary, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Canada.

All these factors have enabled TEXTOR S.A. to become a well-known name in the textile industry.
